Grabbing a collection of Ready-To-Go FX

Writer's picture: Exist in SoundExist in Sound

I'll queue up a sampler with modified sounds to my liking. I'll arrange them on a sequencer and like a pizza going through a baking rack I output into uncompressed audio the total sound file.

Then I'll open the file and splice it into the separate parts I need and fade the edges in/out to avoid clipping when applied to the game these effects are created for. (Quick tip!)

Above: A quick clip on splicing. Use hot keys when you can but for the clip I used the menu.

Lastly, name the files something that makes sense because the quantity will quickly add up!
